About Garin
Garin College is a Catholic co-educational secondary school integrated into the New Zealand State School system. Established in 2002, we are a modern, twenty-first century school.
Garin has approximately 650 students, including around 20 international students from Japan, Hong Kong, China, Macau, Germany, Korea, and Thailand
We cater for international students with two purpose-built boarding houses accommodating up to 56 boarders. Boarding houses located in a quiet residential area, just a short walk from the college
Our Location
Located in Richmond, in the beautiful Nelson region of New Zealand (New Zealand’s fastest growing residential town). The school is 10 minutes from Nelson Airport and nearby beaches, 5 minutes from Richmond town centre and only 15 minutes from Nelson City. Close to Abel Tasman National Park and within reach of ski fields (approximately 1 hour).
